Cafe Skills

 LEARNING SPHERE’S training café is a great environment so you can develop skills for the hospitality industry. Group sizes are kept small (average of 6 per group) so you can gain more practical skills. Students also experience serving customers and local businesses who enjoy our range of coffees and non-alcoholic beverages.  

Café Skills – a 6 day course designed to prepare you for the industry, covering such things as: 

• Food hygiene practices 
• Preparing and serving coffees and non-alcoholic beverages 
• Interacting with customers and taking orders 
• Preparing and closing  
• Gain a Statement of Attainment (part of SIT20316 Certificate II in Hospitality) 

SIT20316 Certificate II in Hospitality  – students can progress from our Café Skills training into a full Certificate II or enter directly into this qualification 

FEES: Subsidised places are available under the NSW Smart & Skilled program for –  

• Café Skills – part qualification 
• Traineeships (Certificate II, III) 
• Full Qualifications (Certificate II, III)
