Warehousing Jobs Sydney Region

Sydney’s West and South West has become Australia’s largest warehousing hub; an industrial corridor from Ingleburn to Wetherill Park to Eastern Creek to Marsden Park; and expanding! Employers are looking for reliable local people who will be offered good employment positions. Learning Sphere is working with these employers to offer skills, and recognised qualifications for these positions.

Learning Sphere holds weekly Information Sessions at our Blacktown Skills & Development Centre so YOU can see what employment is available and what skills the employer is looking for. More importantly if YOU need help to get those skills, we can provide the necessary training, which is often subsidised by the NSW Government under the Smart & Skilled program.

Check available dates or please fill out the Enquiry details so we can assist you.

Qualifications & Skill sets (subsidised places are available for most of these programs):

  • RF Scanner and Pick to Voice training – hands on training using the latest hand held and wearable devices for picking and warehousing operations. This is one of the most necessary skills you will need for working in this industry. See RF Scanner Training for dates!
  • Youth Warehousing Traineeships – for 15 to 20 year olds wanting to receive training and formal qualifications while employed. See our Youth Careers in Warehousing page
  • Pre-employment short courses – specific short course skills aimed at warehousing skills for a specific employer or as a skills need for the student
  • Certificate II Warehousing Operations (TLI21616) – designed for those entering the warehousing industry as a pre-vocational course, often with work experience, which will help you with skills that a warehouse employer is looking for
  • Certificate III Warehousing Operations (TLI31616) – for individuals working in warehousing or if seeking recognition for their current skills so it is formally recognised (recognised Certificate)
